Germinal Amenity serves the professional amenity market, supplying grass seed, fertiliser and wildflowers to the landscaping, sports turf and domestic sectors in the UK and Ireland.
Our portfolio includes high performance UK-bred varieties, specialist Climate Smart A Range products, and an extensive range of UK native wildflowers and grasses.
Cates
Openfolde holds a 50% stake in Cates, a strong partner for international seed trade based in Canterbury, New Zealand. Cates supplies high quality locally grown pasture seeds, cereals and pulses across the world and produce ryegrass and clover for Germinal.

The Grass People is an innovative ecommerce brand strategically driven by a multi-disciplined digital team based at Openfolde headquarters in Belfast. Launched in 2015, The Grass People offers quality lawn and wildflower seed, great customer service and advice to the domestic market.

With a signature range of great seed products, this established online brand is invested in solving the problems of DIY lawn care through in-depth knowledge and understanding of correct lawn care procedures.
